Langdai Medical Welcomes US Partner for Strategic Discussions on AI Skin Analysis Solutions
The client, which currently serves a wide network of medical aesthetic clinics across the United States, is planning to expand its product portfolio to include advanced skin analyzers. This visit provided an opportunity for the client to gain a comprehensive understanding of Langdai's capabilities, product lineup and core technologies.
During the visit, the client team toured Langdai's modern 2,000 m² Shenzhen headquarters and its 6,000 m² smart manufacturing base in Zhongshan. They also learned about the company's three dedicated R&D centers in Shenzhen, Zhongshan and Changsha, which specialize in optical imaging, AI algorithm development, hardware engineering, and software design. The client was particularly impressed by Langdai's in-house R&D capabilities and its commitment to delivering professional skin analysis solutions.
The discussions focused on four key skin analyzer models: the M3A, M17, M5, and M15A. According to Langdai's international sales team, the M17 and M3A have been particularly well-received in the US market, with strong monthly sales volumes. The M17, a cost-effective model, is ideal for small clinics, independent aestheticians and beauty salons with limited budgets. The M3A, on the other hand, is a premium professional skin detection device designed for high-end beauty salons and medical aesthetic clinics requiring high-precision skin imaging and comprehensive reporting. The M5 was introduced as an upgraded version of the M3A, featuring higher pixel resolution and more advanced diagnostic capabilities for professional aesthetic applications.
The client also expressed interest in 3D skin analysis functionality. Langdai's technical team provided a detailed explanation, clarifying that current 3D imaging primarily offers rotational views to highlight pigmentation and surface texture, but does not visualize subcutaneous injections or support deep medical diagnosis. The M15A, a 3D skin analyzer currently being trialed by clients in Europe and Israel, was also presented as a versatile solution that covers all standard 2D analysis features while adding enhanced imaging depth for more comprehensive skin assessment.
Throughout the visit, Langdai emphasized its core strengths: locally processed AI analysis without reliance on cloud connectivity, flexible OEM/ODM customization including logo branding, software interface design and report personalization, as well as multilingual support for global markets. The US client expressed strong interest in these capabilities, particularly the offline local analysis feature, which addresses growing data privacy concerns among end users.
The visit concluded with both parties agreeing to continue technical discussions and explore a potential partnership.
